well executed game, solid strategy base and a challenge to play
my only real complaint is that once you have everything things start to just get repetitive and boring after a few hours, clearing the maps becomes a cinch. granted the enemies get more numerous but the . vary the sizes of the levels perhaps? force the character to advance to conquer castles instead of just destroying them? just a thought

a good premise, reminds me of the Bowmaster series, the sidescrolling is a definite plus, adds more depth, as does the use of trinkets. this said, i found the experience device in the latter series to gain spells much more rewarding.
